Encore performance for Jamieson and Darling
August 31 - For the second straight week driver Jody Jamieson and trainer Jack Darling teamed up to win a pair of two-year-old pacing colt Grassroots divisions with St Lads Moonwalk and Continual Hanover.

August 25 - After coming close in each of his previous Gold Series starts, three-year-old pacing gelding Mr Carrotts scored a narrow victory in front of a hometown crowd at Georgian Downs on Tuesday evening.

August 25 - Local filly Hape earned her second Grassroots trophy at Mohawk Racetrack on Tuesday evening, making up for the aggravation she caused trainer-driver Jack Moiseyev prior to the race.

August 16 - Ontario’s two-year-old trotting fillies journeyed to Rideau Carleton Raceway on Sunday evening for their fifth Grassroots test and Traviata picked the perfect time to earn her first lifetime victory, touring co-owner Mel Hartman’s local oval in 1:59.3.
Could It Be Magic and Caprice Hill repeat at Georgian Downs
August 15 - Ontario’s top two-year-old fillies took centre stage at Georgian Downs on Saturday night and trotter Could It Be Magic landed Fred Brayford in the winner’s circle at his local oval for the second time this summer.

August 14 - Heading into Friday night’s three-year-old pacing filly Grassroots event at Mohawk Racetrack Sylvain Filion had a 22 point lead on Trevor Henry in the Ontario Sires Stakes driver standings.

August 13 - Rideau Carleton Raceway fans were treated to six outstanding battles by the two-year-old pacing colts on Thursday as the province’s best Grassroots and Gold Series competitors brought their “A” game to the Ottawa oval.
Condren wins two, sends freshman trotters to top of the charts
August 12 - AUGUST 11, 2015 – Hall of Fame driver Steve Condren proved again Tuesday night at Mohawk Racetrack why he’s a popular choice to drive young horses. The Milton, ON resident drove two of the six division winners in the $18,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Grassroots event for two-year-old trotting colts, including Georgies Pockets in race one. The victory propelled Georgies Pocket to the top of the divisional standings.
