SARNIA, NOV. 5 — THE SCORE Sports Network will rebroadcast the two-year-old Grassroots Championships from Hiawatha Horse Park on its Monday, Nov. 8 harness racing program at 7:30 pm.

Four Championships will be decided at Hiawatha Horse Park on Saturday evening with the winner taking home the lion’s share of $100,000. Among the horses hoping to claim a division title is two-year-old pacing colt Armbro Cougar, who captured his Semifinal last week in a sharp 1:54.4.

“He just looks like a war horse and that’s what he is. He may not be the fastest horse out there, but he’ll give you his best effort every time he comes out,” says Bobcaygeon resident Paul Jackson, who owns the colt. “We all love him. He’s just tougher than nails.”

Ontario Sires Stakes fans can see how Armbro Cougar makes out against seven of his toughest Grassroots rivals in the last of the four Championships this Monday on THE SCORE.
